Radio Kaapse Kansel vier Vrouedag by D’Aria in Durbanville

Radio Pulpit / Radiokansel in partnership with Venue D’Aria together with Durbanville CPF hosted a successful and informative Women’s Day event on 9 August 2016. Wanda Bam, writer, presenter at Radio Cape Pulpit and Radio Pulpit, shared her inspiring life story and how the Wilderness actually brings healing to so many women who find themselves in a place where there seem to be no way out of their Wilderness.

Attendees included Dr Roelf Petersen (CEO Pulpit Media Group) and his lovely wife, Alta, Kosie Burger (COO Radio Cape Pulpit) and his wife Ria, Brad Kirsten (MC for the morning), Breakfast Key Presenter at Radio Cape Pulpit as well as female members from SAPS Durbanville, Neighbourhood Watches, Community Victim Support volunteers, CPF, Western Cape Department Social Development, City of Cape Sub-Council Manager, Councillor, NGO’s & volunteers active in Social Development, community members – totalling 260 women of worth networking towards empowering them with the necessary skills and knowledge to address & support victims of Domestic Violence. Information on various volunteering opportunities towards active citizenship partnerships were shared.
